Frequently asked questions
Does a generated line have a better chance of winning?
No. Every combination has exactly the same probability whether you pick it, a machine picks it or you use birthdays. In Lotto 6/45 the odds of matching all six numbers are 1 in 8,145,060; in Powerball the jackpot odds are about 1 in 292 million. Random lines simply avoid the predictable patterns many other players share.
What do the include and exclude fields do?
Numbers in "Always include" are placed in every line and the remaining main numbers are drawn at random around them. Numbers in "Never include" are removed from the pool before drawing. Both apply only to the main numbers, not to the Powerball, Mega Ball or Lucky Stars, which are always drawn from their own full range.
Which rules does each game use?
Lotto 6/45 draws 6 numbers from 1 to 45. Powerball draws 5 from 1 to 69 plus 1 Powerball from 1 to 26. Mega Millions draws 5 from 1 to 70 plus 1 Mega Ball from 1 to 24 (the pool shrank from 25 to 24 in April 2025). EuroMillions draws 5 from 1 to 50 plus 2 Lucky Stars from 1 to 12. UK Lotto draws 6 from 1 to 59. Operators change rules occasionally, so check your ticket.
How random are the numbers?
Lines are drawn with the browser's cryptographically secure random source and a partial Fisher–Yates shuffle, so each remaining number is equally likely at every step and no number repeats within a line. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere, and pressing Generate again produces a completely new set of lines.
Can I play the same numbers every week?
The page does not save lines, so copy the result or write it on your ticket. If you want fixed favourites, put them in "Always include" and the tool fills in the rest; the page link keeps your settings so you can reuse them. Remember that playing the same line every week does not improve the odds.
